On Thursday, US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood called the attention of lawmakers. He recommended that they pass a bill in support of reviving the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) operations, to provide employment for more than 70,000 construction workers and staff.

It can be recalled that the FAA’s normal course of business was disrupted due to the members of the Congress’ conflicting stand on the extension of the agency’s operation, combined with the involved partisan disputes and claims over labor rights and funding for remote communities.
